The department students have an opportunity to get familiarized with and get educated to modern software including geomodelling, PVT-analysis, PTA analysis and interpretation, production and injection system optimization, optimum well performance, etc. This is done to increase the quality of education. Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering Department Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University is in collaboration with various companies and organizations such as SOCAR, BP, Schlumberger, Baker - Hughes, Halliburton, Total, Roxar, Petex, Kappa, SPE Azerbaijan and others.
